  Which didn't distract from the fact that Taleb is completely right about the snowball effect and funds liquidating assets. The GBP has dropped 45% in one year partially caused by investors being forced to unwind so many carry trades and pay back japanese loans.
  
  As an aside, I highly recommended the mandelbrot book.
