  This video reminded me of something from childhood... As a kid we had this lady come visit our school - her son was brain damaged after coming off his bicycle without wearing a helmet and she campaigned for compulsory wearing of helmets (this is now law in NZ). Anyway I remember her saying that apparently hitting the road without a helmet is like being punched really hard in the head. Not a nice thought.
